Volunteering Effort in the (Wardia) Area for Children

Glory be to Him, the Almighty Allah, we ask to accept the victims of the martyrs, reassure our hearts about the missing, and grant safety to the injured. From the first hours of the unprecedented, painful tragedy that struck our families and loved ones in our beloved cities that were subjected to the devastating hurricane, a hole in our hearts whose extent and burning no one knows but God. Because we are all grieving and suffering from an overwhelming loss, His serenity rests upon us all and encourages us to be patient and persistent.
LIMU students flocked to the university’s main campus and started emergency meetings at every level, including the highest. As per usual, the student union arrived on time, showing support for their friends, loved ones, and family in the affected cities. Campaigns to recruit volunteers were started, and university administrators moved swiftly to communicate with the central authorities to set up every capability.

These images show the coast security directorate and its media office accompanying LIMU students on a volunteer aid mission to the “Wardiya” region.
