LIMU Journal Selected as an Input Source for IMEMR LIMU’s Research and Consultation Center Director, Dr. Reda Al-Awkali, received a letter from the Index Medicus (IMEMR) team—Assistant Librarian, Library and Knowledge Sharing (LKS) Department, Science Information and Publication (SID) Division,
WHO Regional Office for the Eastern Mediterranean (WHO/EMRO). The letter expressed delight and congratulations on the establishment of the journal, “The Best Available Evidence in Medicine,” adding: “We are confident that this journal will be a valuable addition to the body of knowledge in Evidence-Based Medicine at the national, regional, and international levels.” They were also pleased to inform Dr. Al-Awkali that the esteemed journal had been selected as an input source for the Index Medicus for the Eastern Mediterranean Region (IMEMR). Their correspondence also noted that the IMEMR project, prepared and published by the Regional Office since 1986, aims to provide comprehensive services for bibliographical control, abstracting, and indexing of all health and medical journals published in the region.
