Structuring Cooperation between Postgraduate Studies and Community Responsibility Vice-Presidencies
On November 20, 2025, LIMU witnessed the signing of a crucial coordination memorandum between the Vice-Presidency for Postgraduate Studies and the Vice-Presidency for Community Responsibility and Sustainability. The goal is to structure collaboration to execute priorities for applied research in community responsibility and sustainability.
The memo aims to adopt an action plan to align Master’s and PhD theses in postgraduate programs with applied research priorities in this field, secured by a dedicated financial budget. This memorandum implements LIMU’s vision and the executive plan of the Vice-Presidency for Postgraduate Studies, which seeks to connect research priorities with societal development and sustainability requirements. The two parties will work to attract additional external funding to ensure the project’s long-term sustainability.
The memorandum was signed on behalf of the Vice-Presidency for Postgraduate Studies by Prof. Dr. Mustafa Al-Fakhiri, Director of Postgraduate Studies.
