To strengthen scholarly partnerships and provide global opportunities for the student body, the Academic Relations and International Cooperation office at LIMU hosted a guidance seminar on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, called “Your Path to Studying in the United States.”
The event saw the participation of the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Abdullah Al-Mansouri, alongside many undergraduates eager to continue their educational journeys within American colleges.
The lead speaker, an advisor from the U.S. Embassy’s EducationUSA Libya department, delivered an extensive manual covering university selection processes, enrollment criteria, and the best ways to prepare for living abroad. Additionally, the session detailed the application standards for the Fulbright Foreign Student Scholarship program available to Libyans, which was recently opened. To conclude, a Q&A segment allowed for a thorough exchange, where the guest addressed student questions with clarity and professional warmth.
The Academic Relations and International Cooperation management extends its sincere thanks to the EducationUSA Libya branch at the American Embassy for their vital insights and hands-on advice. They highly value the persistent collaboration and the dedicated educational mentorship provided to our pupils, ensuring they remain aware of the prestigious grants and cultural exchanges frequently promoted by the Embassy to aid their future success.
