At LIMU, Students Produce Information Rather Than Just Receiving It
Since its founding in 2007, LIMU has adopted learning methods previously unknown to Libyan universities, spearheaded by guided learning techniques that move away from rote memorization and passive instruction. This education is centered on “problem-solving, interaction, and information retrieval” through dialogue-based sessions that foster research skills, critical analysis, and teamwork.
Following this methodology, a “Team-Based Learning (TBL)” activity was held today, Wednesday, April 22, 2026, for second-year students in the Applied Medical Sciences program. This was conducted as part of the requirements for the “Cardiopulmonary” module.
Team-Based Learning (TBL) is an instructional approach designed to enhance student interaction through collective problem-solving and decision-making, contributing to the development of collaboration and critical thinking skills. This method is highly effective in improving learning outcomes, encouraging a deep understanding of academic content, and motivating active student participation.
