Another Milestone in LIMU’s Journey
In the presence of the University President:
Staff members demonstrate AI applications.
As we observe this scientific marathon racing against time to keep pace with the rapid momentum of artificial intelligence, we are reminded of a unique remark made by Libyan philosopher Najeeb Al-Hassadi regarding LIMU’s tireless pursuit of technological advancements: “Where are you even heading? It seems there are no limits to your ambitions.”
Organized superbly by the Center for Training and Continuous Learning at Libyan International University, the Scout Leader Ali Khalifa Al-Zaidi Hall hosted on Sunday morning, July 19, 2026, the first-level presentations of project participants in the “Utilizing Generative AI in University Functions” course. Staff members presented practical, innovative models demonstrating how generative AI applications can be leveraged to enhance administrative and academic performance while elevating the quality of university services.
The event was attended by the President of LIMU, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Saad Ambarek, who emphasized in a valuable address the university’s dedication to adopting cutting-edge technologies, accelerating digital transformation steps, and building a smart university rooted in innovation and artificial intelligence across all operational domains.
The session was also attended by Prof. Dr. Adel Al-Tawaty, Prof. Dr. Michael Al-Rafadi, Mr. Atia Aoun, Ms. Najeeba Astita, Mr. Fathi Kerd, and Mr. Ibrahim Al-Maghrabi, along with several department directors and staff members, in an atmosphere that reflected a spirit of collaboration, creativity, and commitment to boosting institutional capabilities.
The presentations highlighted the advanced level achieved by participants in utilizing generative AI tools by offering practical, actionable solutions that enhance operational efficiency, streamline procedures, and improve the work environment. This aligns seamlessly with LIMU’s vision to establish a modern educational and administrative framework driven by digital technology and innovation.
This event underscores LIMU’s steadfast commitment to investing in human capital and empowering its workforce with future-ready skills, furthering its transformation into a leading digital university capable of keeping up with global developments in education, management, and artificial intelligence.
