A Pivotal Day for the Nursing Sciences Program

What distinguishes this university is its authentic commitment to social responsibility and its relentless effort to create positive change within Libya’s healthcare sector. Believing in the pivotal role nursing plays in improving health realities, LIMU offered two full scholarships; now, we approach harvesting the first batch of elite, highly qualified nurses.

Today, April 23, 2026, marks a turning point for these inaugural nursing program students as they begin clinical training at the National Heart Center – Benghazi. This placement, part of the “Critical Care and Emergency Nursing” course, immerses students in a specialized clinical environment defined by precision, professionalism, and strict safety standards. Training is supervised by faculty members Dr. Mohamed Houda and Dr. Ramadan Al-Agouri.

This step is a cornerstone of our educational curriculum, merging academic knowledge with field application to graduate nursing cadres capable of managing emergencies efficiently and ethically. We wish our esteemed students success and take pride in our healthcare partners’ confidence in these emerging talents. Special thanks to the National Heart Center-a towering medical and educational institution-and its staff for their constructive cooperation and professional leadership.
