“Aya”: A Success Story Witnessed and Celebrated by LIMU

Reaffirming LIMU’s adoption of the inclusive education pathway, the university celebrated a landmark event on the evening of Thursday, July 2, 2026, at the Promising Libya Hall. The gathering honored core human values, reinforced foundational principles, and recognized dedicated humanitarian efforts that align with the mission of “restoring noble values” embraced by the Libyan International University known for providing equal learning opportunities for everyone, particularly our children who have faced challenging health conditions since birth.
In the presence of the University President, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Saad Ambarek, the Director of the Communication Department, Ms. Najiba Stita, whose department organized the event along with her team, commenced the ceremony. Attended by Aya’s family, the software engineering program team, and several esteemed guests from the Libyan Parliament, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Higher Education, the Municipal Council, and university leaders, this remarkable showcase of challenge and determination unfolded.

Her excellence is further highlighted by her graduation project, which she is set to defend this coming September at LIMU. Today, the university, represented by its President, chose to celebrate Aya, praise her success and distinction, and honor the Director of the Software Engineering Program, Mr. Ehab Al-Fallah, along with the faculty members who provided unwavering support to Aya, her graduation project supervisor, Ms. Jinan Al-Tawati, and representatives from the Hawari Specialized Surgery Center’s cochlear implant localization program team.
