Engineering Students at (Lilium Flower Nursery)
Knowledge and Joy are Inseparable Paths at LIMU
An observer of this university’s trajectory will find it easy to discover that it elevates the importance of scientific joy, making it a cornerstone of the educational process alongside a close link between curricula and the realities of the labor market. In this regard, on the morning of Tuesday, April 28, 2026, fourth-year/seventh-semester Architecture and Construction Engineering students from the School of Engineering conducted a field visit.
Accompanied by Dr. Huda Al-Athram, students of the Landscape course visited the (Lilium Flower Nursery) for a delightful field trip aimed at bridging the gap between theoretical study and practical application.
The visit aimed to:
* Identify various types of trees and shrubs.
* Examine flowers and ornamental plants.
* Study plants that thrive in the Libyan environment.
* Understand how to utilize these plants in landscape design.
Furthermore, the visit enhanced the students’ grasp of the subject through direct observation and interaction with practical reality, helping them better apply theoretical concepts to the design and coordination of green spaces. Our gratitude goes to the Lilium Flower Nursery for the fragrant reception today at LIMU.
