Extended Meeting to Monitor Technical and Procedural Improvements for University Financial Operations
University business operations are progressing with steady and rapid strides, aiming not only to enhance institutional performance and achieve the highest efficiency standards in administrative tasks but also to fundamentally transform the “legacy of administrative accumulation.” This legacy has historically led to inflation, stagnation, and hindered progress. By establishing an “Operations Culture,” LIMU enforces precise performance based on quality, automation, standards, and interconnected cycles. Following this approach, the University Process Management (UPM) team held a significant meeting last Thursday, May 7, 2026, to follow up on a package of technical and procedural enhancements for the university’s financial operations.
The meeting saw broad attendance, including the Director of the General Administration of General Affairs, Mr. Fathi Kerd; the Director of Internal Audit, Mr. Faisal Al-Naas; the UPM Project Manager, Mr. Bilal Al-Jabbour; and the Director of Faculty Affairs, Mr. Fayez Al-Beijo, alongside representatives from the Financial Affairs Department and various Schools and programs.
The discussions focused on reviewing digital transformation mechanisms within the new, improved version of the financial burdens system, ensuring its alignment with regulatory standards. Mr. Marwan Al-Karghali and Ms. Imtinan Al-Tabouli from the UPM team presented this update, which relies on “full automation” and aims for “zero procedural risk.”
Attendees emphasized that the integration of efforts is the primary guarantee for the success of this transition. This move toward a digital work environment adopts the latest governance systems and supports rapid decision-making based on reliable data and governed processes. The Libyan International University continues its confident steps toward leading digital transformation, developing systems that serve its staff and students while achieving its future aspirations.
