Faculty of AMS students and How to Examine Knee Bones

A new group of second-year students at the faculty of Applied Medical Sciences (AMS) this morning conducted sessions during which the team in the Clinical Skills Lab at the university initiated training on how to examine knee bones in a hospital bed, which is an examination used by physicians when a knee injury or pain occurs and occasionally before X-rays or magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) are used.

The exercises took into account the application of precautionary measures to combat the Covid-19 pandemic, by dividing students into 8 small groups, each comprising of 6 to 7 students and their commitment to wearing face masks. It is worth noting that students of the first three years studying at the Faculty of Medicine and students of the first two years studying at the Faculty of Dentistry receive their full education during these years at the Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences.
