Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine and Surgery Receive Their Applied Training Within The University\’s Laboratories, In Addition To the University\’s Center for Oral and Dental Medicine and Surgery (a specialized clinic).

Students of the faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine and Surgery receive their applied training within the university\’s laboratories, in addition to the University\’s Center for Oral and Dental Medicine and Surgery (a specialized clinic).

The faculty grants a bachelor’s degree in oral and dental medicine and surgery, and, like other university faculties, adopts a problem-based learning strategy (PBL) according to the following system:

(*) The study runs in the college according to a system of educational blocks, distributed over five academic years, followed by a year of supplementary training (excellence) and a period of nine months.

(*) The educational units are presented in the form of seminars, lectures, practical lessons, and scientific seminars.

(*) The academic year is divided into two semesters, and each semester contains two educational units in addition to an additional unit that deals with clinical skills, and the duration of study in each educational unit is from 4-6 weeks including the period allocated for partial examinations.

(*) The academic year at the college begins during the first half of October of each year.

(*) The study for the second semester begins at the beginning of March of each year.

(*) English is the language of instruction in the faculty
