Faculty of Pharmacy discusses graduation projects for its students

The Faculty of Pharmacy held a discussion yesterday morning of the first batch graduation projects (2020-2021) in accordance with the Pharm D Pharmacy Program, which is the Faculty of Pharmacy at the Libyan International University, the only college in Libya that awards this degree, a professional degree in pharmacy that contributes to the provision of pharmacists with a high degree of competence in the scientific and practical field and qualified to provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care to patients in the best way in order to improve health services.
The first discussion dealt with the student project:
(1) Rajaa Naji Faraj al-Ras (2) Issam Ayras al-Obaidi (3) Abdul Nasser Abdul Qadir Hassan
The title of the project: The difference between the reports from asthmatic children and their parents about the effect of asthma on their quality of life focuses on the differences between reports on children with asthma and their parents and the impact of asthma on their lives.
The second discussion of the project submitted by the students took place:
(1) Salspil Ghazal Shalgam (2) Asra Saeed Fayez Ghazi (3) Hanin Anwar Ahmed Al-Ta\’hani
The title of their project: The effect of ACE-I on the HRQOL in hypertensive patient and dedicated to talking about the effect of ACE-I on HRQOL in a high blood pressure patient.
The participants discussed the third project presented by the students:
(1) Walla Ibrahim Saleh Omar (2) Fatma Rifai (3) Nabila Al-Huni
The title of their project: Quality Evaluation of Pharmaceutical products of a certain company AVAILABLE in the Libyan market, in which the reason for assessing the quality of the products of a pharmaceutical company operating in the Libyan market worked.
The fourth project was presented by  the students :
(1) Monat Allah Faraj Abdeslam and Ness (2) Mohammed Thabet Tahir
It is entitled Effect of lipid-lowering agents on lipid profile blood glucose and Glycated hemoglobin in DM patients and has talked about the effect of lipid agents on blood glucose and hemoglobin in DM patients.
The fifth project presented by the students:
(1) Sanad and Nis Balqasim al-Obaidi (2) Fatma Mansour Mohammed Saleh
The title of their project: Weight reduction induced by metformin is higher among diabetic patients than Non-Diabetic Obese Patients, in which he noted that the weight reduction caused by metformin is higher among diabetics than non-diabetics.
It is worth mentioning that the Program dr. Pharm D pays great attention to the role of pharmacist in the clinical or clinical field and therefore the program provides the opportunity for its learners to develop and develop their clinical skills and obtain sufficient experience to provide appropriate treatment to the patient, through clinical training performed by the student during the professional phase of the study.
