LIMU Medical Students Gear Up to Participate in the Libyan Olympic Committee Festival
Demonstrating its ongoing commitment to community engagement and service enhancement Libyan International University (LIMU) consistently encourages its students and faculty to lead impactful volunteer educational and medical initiatives. True to this mission medical students from the 14th and 15th batches are enthusiastically preparing for extensive participation in the First Benghazi Sports for All Festival.
The event is held under the slogan:
“Towards a Healthy Community… With an Olympic Spirit and Community Sustainability.”
Organized by the Sports for All Committee of the Libyan Olympic Committee in cooperation with the LIMU School of Medicine which is fully overseeing the academic program conducting health measurements and providing vital medical advice the festival will also feature collaboration with the University Medical Center.
The event takes place along the Benghazi Corniche on August 30 and 31 2026.
According to the official page of the Libyan Olympic Committee the festival aims to encourage community members to adopt active healthy lifestyles and embed Olympic values across society. It provides an inspiring model that bridges sports health awareness and community participation.
Ultimately the initiative seeks to foster a culture of physical activity raise awareness about prevention and healthy living and build a more vibrant society.
