Last Thursday, July 7, 2022, the Libyan International Medical University participated in the coordination meeting of the participants in the IBTIKAR project. The project aims to enhance the research and innovation environment in the Libyan higher education system. The meeting was conducted via the Zoom platform and the university was represented by Prof. Abdullah Al-Mansoori, vice dean for learning affairs, and Prof. Salma Boukhtwa, vice-rector for consultation and scientific research.
During the three hours of the meeting, the current status of the project and the first and second work packages were discussed, and the dates of the upcoming meetings were set. It is of note that the partners in the project are eleven Libyan universities, two European universities and the union of Mediterranean Universities.
