More happy information on the international celebrations of World Down Syndrome Day

Earlier today, March 23, 2023, the College of Applied Medical Sciences’ Student Activity Office hosted a celebration for kids and parents in honor of the International Day of Down Syndrome.

The Libyan People of Determination Association for Down Syndrome was founded with the intention of making their lives happier and more joyful while also making them smile.
During the ceremony, Dr. Noha Al-Naas, vice dean of the college, welcomed everyone and expressed her joy at hosting the kids and their parents. Next, Professor Muhammad Saeed, president of the Association of People of Determination, spoke and thanked the International University for hosting the event.

Our pupils participated in a variety of games, activities, and artistic presentations during the event.

Abdul Hadi Al-Saghir, the second deputy speaker of the House of Representatives, attended the ceremony and made an announcement about the establishment of a rehabilitation facility for hardy individuals by the House of Representatives through the Benghazi Stability and Reconstruction Committee. The gentlemen, Rafie Al-Tawerghi, Director of the Office of School Activity in the Ministry of Education, Abdul Hamid Natfa, Director of Equipment and Stores in the Benghazi Education Department, Rajab Al-Harthy, Executive Director of the Libya Experts Organization, and Benghazi Al-Amal Foundation, were present for the joyful celebration activities.
