A team from LIMU, led by Dr. Abdullah Al-Mansouri, participated in the celebration of the National Center for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Educational and Training Institutions held in Tripoli, Saturday, the 9th of March 2024. The center received international recognition from the World Federation for Medical Education. LIMU played a prominent role in achieving this recognition and was the first university to undergo evaluation by the Quality Assurance and Accreditation Center. The Faculty of Medicine at LIMU completed the accreditation process according to the standards of the World Federation for Medical Education. Mr. Mohammed Saad, the President of LIMU, also participated in the meeting where the mechanism for international accreditation of medical colleges was decided, representing Libya as the only participant from the country in the meeting held in November 2011.
