On His Second Visit: The Maltese Ambassador Praises the Scientific Level of LIMU

The President of the University, Dr. Mohamed Saad, received, this afternoon, Wednesday, the 22nd of November 2023, in the National Unity Hall, the Maltese Ambassador, Mr. Charles Saliba, and the delegation accompanying him. The meeting was attended by the President and members of the Council for Academic and International Relations, the Registrar General, and a number of university leaders. Among those accompanying the ambassador was the Head of the Maltese Consulate in Benghazi.
After expressions of welcome from both parties, the conversation touched on the desire of the embassy and consulate to develop cooperation with the university and provide the necessary consular and passport services to university students and employees.
The Maltese ambassador praised the academic level of the LIMU, which he learned about during his first visit in July of last year. Today, his admiration for LIMU is firmly established.

After that, the two parties discussed ways of communication between the Libyan International Medical University and the University of Malta, as well as with the Dubono/MG Group for Medical Education in Malta, and the university’s desire to cooperate with health service providers in Malta to support the university’s next role in providing health services in the city of Benghazi. .
The President of the University accompanied the Ambassador and the accompanying delegation on a tour of some of the university’s facilities, where he listened to a detailed talk about health education methods and other programs available at the university.
