About us
The Students’ Union is the official representative of the students at the Libyan International Medical University. It works to enhance communication between the student body and the university administration, organize student activities and events, and support initiatives that develop students’ skills and build their character, thereby enriching the overall quality of university life.
Vision
To lead in student activism and foster a university environment that stimulates creativity, excellence, and active participation, contributing to the preparation of students who are capable of serving their community and representing their university in the best possible way.
Mission
To effectively represent the university’s students, advocate for their interests, and organize cultural, social, sports, and volunteer programs and activities. Additionally, to promote a spirit of cooperation and belonging, and contribute to building an integrated university community.
Ramadan 2024
For the first time in the university's history, a mass Iftar brings together 300 students from various faculties, organized by the Students' Union.
Ramadan 2025
For the second consecutive year, a mass Iftar brings together students and faculty members from all colleges.
The second edition of the LIMU Charity Bazaar took place on Friday, May 31, 2024, under the slogan "We Won't Leave You on Your Eid." The event aimed to support families in need ahead of Eid al-Adha, while fostering a culture of volunteerism and social responsibility among the students.
The largest tournament yet, featuring comprehensive competitions across all sports with the participation of 700 male and female students—and for the very first time, dedicated tournaments were organized for female students.
As part of the Union's activities, the launch of a charity campaign under the name "Faz'at Khout" (Brothers' Solidarity).
Organizing a inspection and care visit to the nursing home in the Massa region, where the Union took charge of providing all necessary supplies for all residents, including cleaning materials, clothing, and health and hygiene supplies.
The third edition of the LIMU Charity Bazaar.
For the first time in the history of Libyan universities, and in a pioneering partnership with the General Command of the Libyan Armed Forces, organizing the first edition of the Independence Day Carnival, held over three days at the National Library.
The fourth edition of the LIMU Charity Bazaar, held in honor of the late Jalal Al-Kawafi.
