With voluntary efforts that reflect a true patriotic spirit, a sense of responsibility towards society, raising awareness through direct contact with citizens, and providing service in their homes. On Monday afternoon, September 4, 2023, and with the International University’s support and sponsorship, and in fulfillment of its societal responsibility, the voluntary campaign for early detection of breast cancer was launched. This campaign, organized by the Medical Physics Organization and led by a number of female doctors from various centers and hospitals, aims to conduct a medical survey in ten neighborhoods of Benghazi. They are accompanied by the Red Crescent.
Clinical examination, samples, and distribution of educational booklets on the critical need of cancer diagnosis are all part of the program.
The Ministry of Health will investigate any positive cases discovered.
