Yesterday, Tuesday, January 13, 2026, second-year students from the Basic Medical Sciences program at the Libyan International University (LIMU) gathered in the Descriptive Anatomy Laboratory.
As part of the Dental Anatomy course, these students executed the “Build Up” technique practically—a first for any university in Libya—aiming to bridge theoretical knowledge with application and cultivate manual dexterity in a simulation of clinical reality.
This practical activity, tailored for second-year students at the School of Dentistry, involved a step-by-step dental reconstruction process within the lab. The objective was to integrate theory with practice while enhancing manual and clinical skills.
This experience emulates real-world clinical scenarios and prepares students for future clinical training, aligning with LIMU’s mission to advance medical education methods by prioritizing hands-on practice to solidify understanding and build professional competencies.
