Al-Saadawi, a LIMU Student, Achieves Unprecedented Sporting Feat

The Libyan International University (LIMU) extends its congratulations to one of its distinguished athletes, the sports hero Nouri Al-Saadawi, a student at the School of Engineering and Technology (Information Technology Program). He has achieved an unprecedented sports accomplishment, as announced by the President of the Libyan Karate Federation, Jamal Al-Ruaid, on his official page. He proudly declared that the International Karate Federation has officially nominated the Libyan hero Nouri Al-Saadawi to participate in the 2025 Karate World Championship under the new approved system.

Al-Ruaid stated, “With this historic achievement, Nouri Al-Saadawi registers his name as the first Libyan player to qualify for the Senior World Championship, an unprecedented step in the history of the sport locally.” He also mentioned that the World Championship will be held in Cairo, Egypt, from November 27 to 30, 2025.

It is worth noting that LIMU gives great importance to sports, encouraging its students to participate in local, Arab, and international competitions, whether in individual or team sports. The university provides all the necessary resources for them and celebrates their success and excellence.
