During the session, Dr. Suleiman Al-Sharif clarified that the decision to transition towards a university of schools and programs was made by the university council. He emphasized that inquiries and clarifications should not be interpreted as opposition but rather as part of the process.
Dr. Miftah Tawilb, the Director of the Academic and International Relations Department, confirmed that the university’s direction aligns with the Libyan education classification and UNESCO’s international standards. He emphasized that the focus should be on outcomes rather than titles, ensuring flexibility and integration between specializations. Tawilb also reassured that the International University’s outputs adhere to local and international standards.
Mr. Abdul Qadir Al-Taib, the university’s advisor for strategy and business operations, provided an in-depth explanation of the benefits of the business operations system and compared it to traditional administrative systems.
