School of Engineering and Technology Steady Steps Toward Business Process Management

On the morning of Wednesday, September 3, 2025, the Academic Hall witnessed further milestone progress in the path toward complete digital transformation through the University’s Business Process Management (BPM) System.

The workshop, led by the University’s BPM Project Team headed by Dr. Bilal Al-Jubour and attended by Dr. Wissam Al-Fassi, Chair of the School’s BPM Committee, along with most committee members, began by focusing on the key terms and fundamental concepts applied in business processes generally.

It then moved to applying these concepts directly to the School’s operations, highlighting examples of processes previously delivered to the School. It is worth noting that earlier, members of the School’s BPM Committee—who represent its organizational structure—had submitted detailed descriptions of the processes they carry out in their respective roles as-is, meaning exactly as they are currently performed. Within the coming week, the committee members will resubmit their work after applying today’s insights to their earlier submissions, filling in gaps and correcting deficiencies.

This updated version will serve as the cornerstone for the committee’s next phase of work.
