The Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences organized a scientific visit for second-year students of the Clinical Laboratory Sciences program to the National Heart Center in Benghazi this morning, accompanied by a member of the faculty in the subject of biochemistry, Dr Muhammad Hamza, and the coordinator of the academic year, Buthaina Al-Masallati.
The visit aimed to cover the practical and diagnostic side of the lipids aspect of biochemistry, by highlighting the different types of lipids and fats and how to determine their vital levels inside the body and the number of diseases indicated by any defect in these rates, in addition to informing students about the diagnostic data of some patients.
