Dilemma-based Learning Sessions For First-year Students Of the Faculty of Pharmacy For The Academic year 2020/2021

 

Today, Monday, January 4, 2021 AD, outcome sessions were held within the dilemma-based learning sessions for first-year students of the faculty of Pharmacy for the academic year 2020/2021. Dilemma and this week\’s sessions fall within the first educational unit, Drug Delivery.

It is worth noting that the faculty of Pharmacy is the first and only in Libya whose students study within the Doctor of PharmD program, which is the approved program for the graduation of a Pharmacist who holds a Bachelor\’s degree and is able to provide pharmaceutical care to the patient.

The faculty of Pharmacy at the Libyan International University for Medical Sciences adopts modern curricula and teaching methods and student-centered learning strategies within interactive teaching systems where teaching takes place from the first year to graduation over a period of five years, using structured learning based on dilemmas, team-based learning, and research-based learning.
