Second year students at BMS (83 students) attended the first session of their scientific reports, in which faculty and teaching supervisors discuss the titles of the reports submitted by students and their approval or request for amendment.
It is noteworthy that scientific reports are prepared by students under the supervision of the supervisors in three sessions, so that in the first session the title of the scientific report is selected and in the second the report is reviewed with the learning supervisors, but in the third and final session the scientific report is presented to the faculty members to discuss it and add the required amendments and then students submit their scientific reports on the scientific curriculum system of the university (Moodle) for future use and turn it into a scientific paper or complete it as scientific research.
The adoption of this scientific method at the Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences (two years ago) is part of the University\’s constant pursuit of self learning strategies, lifelong learning, knowledge production and community service, and the preparation and qualification of highly qualified specialists, who are able to meet the needs of society, and carry out scientific research.
It is worth mentioning that The Libyan International Medical University is the leading institution in civil higher medical education in Libya, and has contributed to the preparation of graduates with the right knowledge, skills, competencies and good professional behaviors that enable them to practice the profession, and to conduct scientific research in various fields of specialization.
