A number of pioneers of the social networking site Twitter expressed their admiration and appreciation for the Libyan International University of Medical Sciences\’ experience in e-learning, especially during the Coronavirus pandemic and precautionary measures to combat it, and the conduct of the educational process through electronic programs and applications for distance learning.
It is worth noting that the university has adopted since 2009 the electronic learning system (Moodle) on which the curricula of different colleges are raised, through which the faculty members receive students ’inquiries on the lectures and their discussion in them, in addition to following up the progress of tests and various educational activities, and what happened during the Corona pandemic It is more expansion in the adoption of this system and other various applications and programs.
By identifying the rates of viewing and following up the lectures raised on the Moodle system, the results were very stimulating, as the ratios exceeded most of the school years by 90%. Which means that the university students did not face any difficulties in the process of conducting distance studies, as a result of the experiences they gained from relying on e-learning remotely since 2009 within the policies of the approved learning strategy.
