The Office of Education and Examinations of the Faculty of Medicine and Oral Dental Surgery continues to conduct the graduation exams for fifth year students (22 students ) for the academic year 2017-2018 (seventh installment) in educational units for several items including conservative treatments, gums, pediatric dentistry, orthodontics and community dentistry, Papers, slides, and applied tests depending on the method : Objective Structured Clinical Examination ( OSCE ).
The OSCE tests are designed to test the performance of clinical skills and competencies in skills such as communication, clinical examination, medical / prescription procedures, exercise characterization, joint packing / manipulating techniques, radiography, radio graphic assessment and interpretation of results.
The OSCE is a realistic, pragmatic approach to learning that keeps interviewees involved, allows them to understand the underlying factors that drive medical decision-making, and challenges professionals to be innovative and expose their mistakes in the case of management, and provides an open space for improved decision making based on evidence based practice Of real world responsibilities.
The students of the Faculty of Medicine and Oral and Dental Surgery receive their applied training within the university labs, as well as the University Center for Oral and Dental Surgery (specialized clinic).
