University President Welcomes First Cohort of Nursing Program Students

In recognition of ongoing efforts and unwavering support to bring the program to life with full
resources, University President Prof. Mohammed Saad Mubarak welcomed the first cohort of
students in the Nursing Science Program to his office on Sunday, October 13, 2024. The event
was attended by Program Director Dr. Othman Tajouri, Training Supervisor Dr. Wafaa Ramadan,
and Program Study and Exams Supervisor Mr. Ahmed Al-Jilani, along with the university’s
General Registrar, Mr. Ibrahim Al-Maghrabi.
Prof. Mohammad Saad warmly greeted the students, commending their commitment to this
critical field, which is a cornerstone of healthcare services. He encouraged them to strive for
excellence, make the most of this opportunity to study nursing at a high level aligned with
international standards, and wished them every success. The Nursing Science Program was
recently approved by the University Council as part of the institution’s mission to enhance and
develop healthcare services in the country.
