First year students at the Faculty of Pharmacy for the academic year 2020 / 2021, and discuss weekly reports remotely
On Tuesday morning, February 9, 2021, the report discussion sessions were held for all groups of first-year students at the Faculty of Pharmacy. The sessions were conducted using Zoom technology and all sessions were accessed through Moodle university\’s learning management system.
It is worth mentioning that the Faculty of Pharmacy is the first and only in Libya, which studies its students under the PharmD program, which is the program approved to graduate a doctor of pharmacy with a bachelor\’s degree and capable of providing pharmaceutical care to the patient.
The Faculty of Pharmacy at The Libyan International University of Medical Sciences adopts modern teaching methods and learning strategies focused on the student within interactive learning systems where teaching is from the first year to graduation and over a period of five years, using complex-based learning, team-based learning and research-based learning.
