The Quality Assurance Center of the Eastern Region of the Ministry of Education issued its decision No. 22 of 2020 to grant the initial programmatic accreditation certificate for health informatics at the Faculty of Information Technology, based on field inspection reports of the evaluation and accreditation center at the center, which confirmed after the college’s readiness visits and the completion of its plans, policies, institutional and academic procedures, It has the essential ingredients to ensure its success and its ability to provide services to their students effectively.
It is worth noting that the Libyan International University of Medical Sciences (LIMU) has, since its establishment, endeavored to achieve the requirements of implementing systems and standards of quality and institutional academic accreditation, designing, developing and implementing a comprehensive system of evaluation and quality assurance to develop the educational process and reach the highest levels of quality, sufficiency, and excellence, so that it can raise the level of its graduates And research and knowledge activities to contribute to achieving the goals and requirements of development and competition in regional and international labor markets.
It is noteworthy that accreditation is an evaluation process to which the educational institution is subject, through a set of procedures through which a comprehensive educational idea is given to the educational institution and through which the strengths and weaknesses that exist in it are found, which results in giving judgment on the efficiency, eligibility, and extent of the quality of this institution to carry out its responsibility entrusted to it.
