The Libyan International University is committed to fostering stronger ties with
healthcare organizations that deliver exceptional services to the community. On Tuesday,
August 6, 2024, a delegation from the university, led by President Dr. Mohamed Saad,
visited the Cardiac Center in Hawari. The visit aimed to explore collaboration opportunities
and strengthen the university’s connection to frontline healthcare providers.
Dr. Jamal Al-Talhi, Dean of the Medicine Program, emphasized the university’s social
responsibility in partnering with hospitals and medical centers. He highlighted the productive
discussions on potential collaborations between the university and the Cardiac Center.
The meeting focused on several key areas:
● Synergizing Medical Education and Healthcare: Aligning medical education with
the needs of healthcare services.
● Research and Service Development: Exploring joint research initiatives and
enhancing healthcare services.
The attendees agreed on the importance of:

● Professional Diplomas: Developing specialized diplomas in cardiology for

The university team also discussed plans to launch a bachelor’s degree nursing program
