LIMU Celebrates the Inaugural Batch of British Fellowship (FFP) Graduates

Every day, the Libyan International University proves it is a genuine national project dedicated to advancing the country. By adopting quality-based education and emulating successful global academic models, LIMU follows a clear path toward excellence. The university is committed to forming valuable partnerships and has earned its reputation as a worthy collaborator for prestigious international institutions that prioritize modernity and continuous learning.

In this context, LIMU hosted a ceremony on Sunday, January 4, 2026, at the Ali Khalifa Al-Zaidi Hall to honor the first graduates of the British Fellowship (FFP). This qualification is granted by the Al-Maktoum College of Higher Education in Scotland. The event was attended by the President of LIMU, Professor Dr. Mohamed Saad Ambarek, and the Principal of Al-Maktoum College, Dr. Abubakr Jaber Abumajiri, alongside university leaders and guests.
Speeches during the event expressed immense pride in this scientific milestone, which crowns the cooperation between LIMU and Al-Maktoum College. LIMU has secured leadership in this field, as this fellowship is now a benchmark for higher education teaching and a global requirement for professional recruitment. Through this partnership, LIMU is officially the only accredited center in Libya for the British Fellowship program, continuing its deep contribution to improving the Libyan higher education system. Notably, the first batch included nearly fifty graduates from LIMU and other universities, all celebrating their success in achieving this British-accredited qualification.
