Under the Patronage of the University President:
LIMU Hosts and Participates in a Legal-Social Session
As part of Libyan International University’s commitment to supporting women’s causes and strengthening community partnerships, the university’s Women’s Support and Empowerment Office participated in a legal session organized by the Al-Rawnaq Organization for Women and Children. The event featured a group of prominent legal experts and stakeholders, alongside women directly affected by the issues discussed.
The President of LIMU, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Saad Embarek, delivered a supportive keynote during the event, emphasizing the university’s pioneering role in empowering Libyan women. He reaffirmed the institution’s dedication to serving as an academic and social platform that reinforces justice and fairness while opening new avenues to address legal hurdles facing women.
The session reviewed recommendations from the November 2025 conference regarding the constitutional rights of Libyan women married to non-Libyans. Participants discussed the challenges and future prospects of this significant issue, reflecting the active partnership between the university and civil society.
The participation of the Women’s Support and Empowerment Office confirms that Libyan International University is more than just an educational institution; it is an essential partner in building a more equitable society and a true advocate for the rights of women and children.
