LIMU Journal Selected as an Input Source for IMEMR

The Journal of the Best Available Evidence in Medicine Selected as an Input Source for the Index Medicus for the Eastern Mediterranean Region (IMEMR)

The Research and Consultation Center is pleased to announce that the journal of the Best Available Evidence in Medicine has been officially selected as an input source for the Index Medicus for the Eastern Mediterranean Region (IMEMR), a major regional indexing platform operated by the World Health Organization Regional Office for the Eastern Mediterranean (WHO/EMRO).

In their message, the IMEMR team noted:

“We are confident that this journal will be a valuable addition to the body of knowledge in Evidence-Based Medicine at the national, regional, and international levels.”

The letter further conveyed that the journal of the Best Available Evidence in Medicine has been selected for inclusion as an input source to IMEMR, recognizing the journal’s commitment to advancing high-quality research and strengthening the culture of evidence-based medical practice.

Since its establishment in 1986, the IMEMR project has served as a comprehensive platform for bibliographic control, abstracting, and indexing of all medical and health sciences journals published across the Eastern Mediterranean Region. Its mission includes enhancing accessibility, visibility, and dissemination of regional scientific output.

•   Free document supply services for obtaining copies of any indexed article
•   An online directory of indexed regional journals
