The third annual meeting of the Advisory Committee for Curriculum Development at the Faculty of Pharmacy of the Libyan International Medical University took place on Thursday, 08/02/2018, at the Lotus Meeting Room at the Green Plaza Hilton Hotel in Alexandria, Egypt. The meeting discussed the details of the curriculum of the professional stage of the program and how to implement it through the strategy of learning through the problems of problem based learning and team based learning and they determined with the committee how to organize all these activities within the weekly schedule of students, which includes the weekly dilemma of various activities.
The meeting also discussed how to implement training within the program at all stages in accordance with the international standards set for that. In addition, the report of the educational program for the academic year 2018/2017 was reviewed and discussed in comparison with the previous year\’s report. The members of the Advisory Committee commended the level of performance of the program and the efforts of the entire team of the Faculty of Pharmacy. The meeting also discussed and defined the quality assurance criteria that should be followed by the program as part of its permanent steps towards obtaining international accreditation.
