Prospects for cooperation between the International and the Olympic Committee
The President of the University Council met Prof. Mohamed Saad in his office yesterday afternoon, Secretary-General of the Libyan Olympic Committee Mr. Khaled Zankouli, President of the Libyan Olympic Academy Dr. Haddham Al-Abed, member of the Board of Directors of the Libyan Olympic Committee, President of the Women\’s Union Prof. Awatef Abu Shweishah, in the presence of the Dean of the faculty of Medicine, Prof. Jamal Al-Talhi and Mr. General Registrar of the University Prof. Ibrahim Maghribi and Dr. Essam Al-Danaa, a member of the university\’s faculty
The two parties discussed prospects for cooperation between them, as the university president confirmed during the meeting that the university will support the programs and activities of the Olympic Committee with all its capabilities as a contribution to developing the sports movement according to modern scientific foundations.
Al-Talhi, Al-Maghribi, and Al-Dana had received the Olympic delegation and accompanied him on a tour inside the university that included some of its service and educational facilities, such as the clinical skills laboratory, the university\’s sports hall, the main hall, the student activity office, and the media center.
