Quranic Competition 2026

Conclusion of the Late Abdulrahman Al-Manqoush LIMU Graduate Competition

Attended by the President, the Director of the School of Medicine, the family of the late Abdulrahman Al-Manqoush, and various leaders, esteemed Sheikhs from the Awqaf, students, staff, and guests of LIMU, the Quranic competition concluded on Friday evening, the ninth of Ramadan.

This noble initiative, led by medical students-specifically the fourteenth batch-honored the memory of the LIMU graduate Abdulrahman Al-Manqoush (may he rest in peace) by announcing results and celebrating the participants.

The event commenced last Monday, the fifth of Ramadan, at the Libya Al-Waeda Hall within the Libyan International University.

It featured a spirited competition among numerous LIMU students who have memorized the Holy Quran. This blessed occasion showcased values of loyalty and highlighted the moral upbringing that the Libyan International University has prioritized since its inception, embedding such ethics as daily behavior and a prominent hallmark within its students.

The ceremony also included a tribute from LIMU to the honorable Sheikhs from the Benghazi Awqaf Office for their valuable participation, which effectively contributed to achieving the event’s noble goals.
