The faculty of information technology organized the presentations of the scientific posters that is within the basic courses of its study plan of all disciplines for the subject of scientific research methods, intending to enhance students’ research knowledge and scientific research skills that begin with identifying a research problem and a deep understanding of it, providing data and analyzing it to find solutions to the research hypothesis.
The students made their presentations openly and received questions and inquiries from fellow students and faculty members, about their goals for choosing the poster topics (which are carried out in coordination with the faculty), the steps that were followed, the purpose of the research, its objectives, the method of preparing it, and the findings, conclusion and scientific references, which consolidates the spirit of scientific discussion.
Scientific posters are brief research, in which students follow methods and how to prepare them in order to show the extent of their comprehension of the educational curriculum and to apply what they have learned during the semester. The student during the first phase decides on the topic of their poster (brief research) and give a presentation while discussing it during a lecture at the first half of the semester, before proceeding to prepare the research in the second phase, in which students are subjected to evaluation by faculty members, especially regarding the method used in preparing posters, as well as their method of discussion and presentation of information.
