Second-year students at the faculty of applied medical sciences (AMS) received their training this afternoon at the clinical skills lab, which focused on how to give injections including medical injections, which is a way to put fluids into the body using a needle and a syringe to penetrate the skin at an appropriate length in order for the substance to reach the body.
There are three types of injections: subcutaneous injections, intramuscular injections, and intravenous infusions.
Injections are done so that a substance is directly injected into the muscles or veins in the human body and it is a basic method for drug delivery.
