STEM Club Conducts a panel discussion regarding AI

Student clubs flourish within Libyan International University, featuring diverse activities and programs tailored to the interests, hobbies, and skills of their student members.

Among these active scientific organizations is the STEM Club, which focuses on modern sciences. As part of its initiatives, the club organized a panel discussion on the evening of Thursday, December 18, 2025, titled “Does Artificial Intelligence Destroy Our Minds?” 🥳✨

The session opened with a speech by the club president, student Rayan Al-Danna, who welcomed the attendees, highlighted the team’s efforts, and thanked everyone who contributed to the event.

This was followed by remarks from the vice president, student Ahmed Al-Ferjani, regarding the impact of AI on academic and professional life.

The session saw remarkable attendance and interaction, featuring interactive segments alongside varied information aimed at simplifying the concepts of proper AI usage and sparking debate on its influence on the human mind.

Dr. Abdul Majeed Hussein provided a valuable talk on conscious AI utilization to develop mental capabilities without causing harm.

Furthermore, Dr. Mohamed Al-Kawafi presented scientific data on how AI affects the human brain, shedding light on the advantages and challenges linked to these modern technologies. At the conclusion of the session, participants emphasized that AI itself is not the issue, but rather the method of its application, stressing the importance of awareness and balance in dealing with these technologies to serve humanity and aid its evolution! 🤩
