Syria Recognizes LIMU as the First Private University in Libya

Syria Recognizes LIMU as the First Private University in Libya The Vice President for Learning Affairs, Dr. Abdullah Al-Mansouri, announced that the Syrian Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has officially recognized the Libyan International University as the first private university in Libya after all files and information were completed. Regarding the importance of this recognition, Al-Mansouri stated, “This recognition reflects the university’s commitment to academically and educationally recognized regional and international standards. It confirms LIMU’s position as a leading center for higher education in Libya and the region.” Al-Mansouri added, “This recognition facilitates the procedures for Syrian students studying at the university to have their certificates equated in Syria, ensuring official recognition of their certificates at the national level.” He concluded his statement by saying, “This recognition reflects the university’s prestigious status and its commitment to regionally and internationally recognized academic and educational standards, and it confirms its leadership as a pioneering scientific institution in Libya.”
