The Libyan International Medical University celebrated Tuesday morning the graduation of the sixth batch of students of the Faculty of Medicine, and the students of the fourth and fifth batch of the Faculty Basic Medical Science, in a joyful atmosphere, lived by the students and their parents, expressing their happiness to reap the fruits of the hard efforts they made over the years in which the university was keen to provide a scientific environment worthy of it and is a pioneer of excellence and uniqueness in its methods of learning.
The graduation ceremony was attended by The President of the University Dr. Mohammed Saad, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Dr. Jamal Al-Talhi, Dean of the Faculty of Basic Medical Science, Dr. Abdullah al-Mansouri, and The General Registrar of the University, Mr. Ibrahim Al-Maghribi, who confirmed that the establishment of the Libyan International Medical University (2007) was a real challenge and serious initiative to improve the level of education in Libya, determined to move forward with the achievement of its outstanding scientific project despite all the difficulties and obstacles it faced.
Speeches were also given at the ceremony by the graduates and their parents who expressed their happiness in the Libyan International Medical University and its various faculties, professors and scientific methodology.
At the end of the ceremony, the students took the graduation vowes, and the president of the university officially announced the award of the Bachelor\’s degree to the graduates, and the graduation certificates, and then the students were honoured.
It is worth mentioning that the Libyan International Medical University adopted the foundations of quality and international standards, in accordance with the latest developments, techniques, curricula and systems of study, the quality of the educational process, improving analytical skills, criticism and creative skills by adopting modern and reliable teaching methods that move away from traditional education and focus on student centred education, and on a realistic strategy of organized and guided self learning, in order to acquire knowledge and develop skills and talents related to the professional and life practice of future generations, enabling them to be in line with Global universities.
