The three day workshop on \”The Basics of Debate\”, organized by The Libyan Debate Club, concluded yesterday evening, which was attended by a number of students from the Libyan International Medical University (LIMU), as part of the club\’s project, which targets university students.
The workshop was aimed at training students in the skills of persuasion and presentation using body language and visual communication, the skill of arguing and being properly constructed, and training in critical thinking skills.
The workshop also included training discussions on the following topics:
(*) Private education is better than public education.
(*) The economic future is the private sector.
(*) The government\’s response to the question of the right to self-determination was not a political problem.
