To enhance political awareness and diplomatic skills among its students, a group from the Libyan International University (LIMU) Professional Diploma in International Relations and Diplomacy (Mohamed Boukher, Juma Al-Hamdi, and Mohamed Idris Al-Obeidi) visited the House of Representatives Presidency in Benghazi on the morning of Sunday, September 28, 2025.
The visit included touring the Parliamentary Library and its wealth of valuable academic references. The students met with Advisor Wael Al-Osheibi, Advisor to the Foreign Affairs Committee of the House of Representatives, where they discussed several foreign affairs issues. The students demonstrated a high level of discussion skill and aptitude, reflecting the solid academic preparation and practical application they received through simulation workshops on various issues.
Al-Osheibi commended the students’ caliber, the seriousness he observed in the diploma program, and the distinguished academic staff at the Libyan International University. The visit concluded with the students meeting some members of the House of Representatives, providing them with a direct opportunity to observe the mechanics of parliamentary work and discuss national issues in a practical setting.
