May 31, 2024, LIMU hosted the annual Charity Bazaar “We Will Not Leave You During Your Eid,” organized by the university’s student union. The event had significant participation from various entities, including banks, companies, restaurants, pharmacies, cafes, and entertainers…
The bazaar’s activities were inaugurated by the Acting President of the University, Prof. Dr. Abdullah Al-Mansouri, the Director of Academic and International Cooperation, Dr. Muftah Al-Tweilib, the General Registrar, Mr. Ibrahim Al-Maghrabi, and the Director of Communication, Ms. Nagiba Asita.
The bazaar attracted a large audience of families who engaged with the activities. The event was distinguished by a strong youth presence and high-level promotional performance by the participants.
It is noted that the proceeds from this charity market will go to support underprivileged families in celebration of Eid al-Adha. In its first edition, the bazaar’s proceeds went to the maintenance of the orphanage.
