Ninth batch in medical school this morning finished the final clinical exam in the subject of orthopedic medicine (80 students) inside Al Jalaa Hospital for Surgery and Accidents. The students were divided into three groups that took the examination on three days, each group having a limited number of students, in application of the precautionary measures against the Corona pandemic (COVID-19).
The examination was conducted on the basis of the universally adopted Objective Structured Clinical Exams method for testing clinical skills \”clinical\” of physicians, known as OSCE acronym where students are examined, in the educational objectives of the applied curriculum with a multi-station system, and at each satisfactory case station the student examines them, recognizes their satisfactory history, or performs a particular skill application, as instructed by each station.
