Paving a Way to the Job Market Workshop Hosted by the Civil Democratic Party

Organized by the Capacity Development Department of the Civil Democratic Party and hosted by the Libyan International University’s Center for Training and Continuing Education (Engineering and Technical Training Unit), under the leadership of Prof. Mubarak Abdullah Al-Majbri, a workshop titled “Paving a Way to the Job Market” took place on Thursday, July 11, 2024, in the Ali Khalifa Al-Zaidi Hall at LIMU. The event was part of the “Vision for the Future” project and coordinated by Engineer Hussam Al-Magribi.

Academicians, experts, and those interested in public affairs came together for this insightful workshop. Ms. Asmaa Al-Abidi, a member of the Civil Democratic Party, inaugurated the workshop, welcoming attendees and highlighting its place within the party’s cultural program and collaboration with the International University.

Dr. Muftah Saad, the center’s director, emphasized the significance of such cultural and awareness-raising events that address contemporary societal issues. Professor Saleh Salim Al-Majbri, the director of capacity development at the Civil Democratic Party, echoed these sentiments, welcoming attendees and emphasizing the party’s commitment to cultural, intellectual, and awareness-raising endeavors.

Engineer Ayman Al-Aqqouri then delved into the properties of materials. Attendees were treated to a visual presentation showcasing the design and implementation of various projects, sparking technical discussions. Al-Aqqouri highlighted the training of over 2,500 engineers through the reconstruction program. Participants shared their observations and inquiries, commending the quality and timely execution of reconstruction projects.

At its conclusion, participants underscored the importance of activating training programs through local and international implementing companies. They also emphasized the pivotal role of the International University in achieving sustainable development, in collaboration with civil society institutions and parties aligned with its scientific and civilizational project.
