The Public Health Committee of the Libyan Association for Medical Students and Young Doctors, which was established in collaboration with the Red Crescent Society and the communication department, has received all facilities and support from LIMU through the agency for community service and environment and the communication department, confirming its pioneering social role and instilling noble values in the hearts of its children. The institution started a public awareness campaign to encourage blood donation on Monday, February 12, 2023. The committee members gave its students information on the value of donating blood as well as its advantages and requirements. Additionally, a speech on the significance of blood donation was delivered by Dr. Najat Mahmoud Belqasim. The program was completed with a trip to the Benghazi blood center, where some students donated blood in support of the cause.
